Although every job I have been involved in with you has been impressive, the job that stands out the most was the very outdated office complex, 1275 Wampanoag Trail in East Providence. I will never forget walking in there for the first time seeing turquoise doors and trim. Everything was outdated. I thought the place was hopeless, not even paint could help. Then I looked at you and you were so excited to accept a challenge. You could see the excitement in your face as the creative juices started to flow. There were 35 doors in this building and one was mahogany and 34 were turquoise. You asked me if I could make all the doors look like mahogony. My job was easy, but, changing the door color wouldn’t be enough and much more needed to be done.

I had the opportunity to visit the office complex recently and it was the first time I had seen the building completed. It ws an incredible transformation.

Thank you so much for staging The Southwick Team’s new listing at 86 West Passage Drive, Portsmouth.

When I went to take the listing the first floor in this lovely 1997 Victorian was in very nice condition, but, when I went up to the bedrooms, I found the master bedroom was being occupied by one of the children and the parents were using the room over the garage as their master bedroom. To get to their room you needed to go through the laundry room. This needed to be fixed! The rest of the bedrooms and the basement recreation room also were in need of HELP! Yes, you did it, you convinced the seller to move their bedroom back to the original master bedroom. Then you stage the children’s bedroom by just adjusting some of the furniture. The seller was very pleased with the beautiful arrangement of furniture in their basement recreation room as well.

We had the first open house and it looked like a show house. And best of all, this home was sold in less than three weeks.

If you’re just looking for advice on a particular decorating issue and overwhelmed with what to do, we are here to help you. You might need assistance in picking out lighting, furniture, fabric for your furniture and window treatments, or even helping you choose color for one or all the rooms in your home….even the exterior. Knowing how busy everyone is today, we will help you find a single item or a collection of many. We have connections to a variety of resources and can guide you to the selections or services with the best value in the area. If time allows, you can either come with us or we’ll do the shopping for you.

Many of our clients say they watch the decorating shows on HGTV or read magazines to get ideas.
